IEF neutral is so widely adopted compared to Harman and there a number of reasons why Harman isn’t preferred in the iem world compared to over ears. We got few points which will clear all doubts regarding Ief neutral and Harman:
- Harman target for IEMs and it’s metallic-sounding and harsh. It does not sound right at all. All I can say is – it’s simply wrong, whatever the reason.
- The oratory1990 target for IEMs sounds much better, much closer to the sound I get from speakers and from Harman-equalized full size headphones.
